Birthday Dinner
The Annual Birthday Dinner for New Bremen Post 241, Legion, Auxiliary & SAL members will be held on March 17, 2012. Cocktails will be at 6 with dinner at 7. Speaker for the evening will be Vi Gryzybowski, Department Auxiliary President. Sign up sheet will be in the canteen or you can call Ginny Dicke at 419-733-6092 or the Legion at 419-629-2357.
Past Commanders Dinner
The Past Commanders Dinner will be March 25th. Keep an eye out for your invitation and we hope to see all of our Past Commanders and Past Presidents in attendance.
Raffle Help Needed
One of our most successful fund-raisers in our 4-Wheeler Raffle. Of course, we need your help! Please do what you can to help sell tickets and buy one for you and a few for your family members.
SAL T-Shirts
After some discussion at the meeting in May of 2010, it was decided to form a committee to check into getting shirts made for our Squadron. This should help to differentiate ourselves while working an event so those we are serving are able to identify us in case they need assistance. A design was agreed upon, prices were approved, and the shirts are now finished! These shirts are available to all Sons members who help work a SAL-sponsored event!
CPR Certification
If you are interested in becoming certified in CPR, please get a hold of SAL Commander Adam Suchland by e-mail at sal@nblegion.com. The training is hosted by the NBEMS and will be free of charge. It should take no longer than 4 hours.
Meetings
Our meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, from September to May beginning at 8:00 on the Hall side of the Legion. Please join us. There is a carrying balance drawing at all meetings. A name will be drawn from our Membership List and if the member is present, that member wins the pot! The drawing starts at $50 and $10 is added each month. In December, names will be drawn until a winner is picked! So by coming to the meetings you can help our organization, enjoy food and drinks, and you could win some cash!
